How do you feel about bullying?
I feel that bullying is a cheap way of relieving your anger and stress on other people. I think that bullying is very bad, and efforts should be made to stop it all across the nation.
Even though I have never been bullied, I still think it just shouldn’t be done.
What have you learned about bullying in this project?
I learned that bullying is a very serious matter, and that it should never be done again. No matter how bad the urge for the bully to put someone in hurt or emotional pain is, there is always another way. All it does is makes you look bad and gets you into trouble. It is definitely not worth it.
Film Project Experience
What do you think of this project?
(9/7/07) I think that this project is very important to be doing here at Franklin. I think this is a great project, and that every school should be able to benefit from the making of this film. It teaches you about filmmaking and more about bullying that we have not really thought about.
How has the project been so far?
I think the project has been very entertaining and very interesting. The way that Mr. Falls puts the project together, piece by piece really lets you know that this particular film about bullying will both have humor and educational value. In other words, the project has been great!
What are your hopes and expectations in the coming week?
I hope that I get to be somewhere in the movie, but it does not need to be an important role. It could just be an extra or a background part. During the next few weeks, I expect that we start filming, and during that filming, I can see the story take place. Instead of being in a hot room waiting for it to be done, I hope I can see the film take place live.
What experiences have you had with filming?
One time in 2nd grade, my whole class took a field trip to County Market to bag groceries in celebration for recycling day. A camera crew took photos and filmed us that day. I was interviewed along with some other kids. I think this experience was very fun for me.
